Who am I?
Hi, my name is Carissa!
Every time I hear someone start to introduce themselves this way, Eminem always interrupts and I immediately start bobbing my head singing "please stand up" under my breath lol. But really, who am I? I've been working on how to answer that question my whole life. And I'm proud to say, I think I finally figured it out. On the surface, I'm just a busy mom and an overachiever entrepreneur who loves Jesus and is always chasing a head full of dreams. But it's the stuff you can't see and all the lessons I've learned that have made me who I am. If you decide to follow along, which I hope you do, you'll soon learn that I'm not just a girl, with one hell of a story to tell, I'm actually a freaking real-life superhero! {modestly but confidently speaking} It's taken me a lifetime to be able to say that about myself with such certainty. Let me say that again.
I, Carissa Marie, am a true badass! Wow, that feels great! I've talked about writing a book for a really long time but instead decided to create a blog and share the tales of my journey, so that it may inspire and encourage anyone it came across. So I'm really happy you found your way here. I hope my page brings you joy and makes you laugh.
